BAFTA 2017: Οι μεγάλοι νικητές της βραδιάς.

Το La La Land συνεχίζει να σαρώνει σχεδόν όλα τα βραβεία για τα οποία είναι υποψήφιο.

Ολοκληρώθηκε η 70ή απονομή των Βραβείων της Βρετανικής Ακαδημίας Κινηματογράφου, των γνωστών σε όλους BAFTA. Η τελετή είχε φέτος οικοδεσπότη τον κωμικό Stephen Fry, ο οποίος φυσικά δεν παρέλειψε τα καυστικά του σχόλια περί Donald Trump από το πρώτο κιόλας λεπτό, καθώς με το που ανέβηκε στη σκηνή μετά το εντυπωσιακό νούμερο του Cirque du Soleil, παρουσίασε την πολυβραβευμένη ηθοποιό, Meryl Streep, λέγοντας “Μία από τις καλύτερες ηθοποιούς όλων των εποχών. Μόνο ένας ανόητος θα σκεφτόταν διαφορετικά”.

Όσον αφορά τα βραβεία το La La Land “έφυγε” από την 70η Τελετή των Βραβείων της Βρετανικής Ακαδημίας Κινηματογράφου με 5 βραβεία, συμπεριλαμβανομένων της καλύτερης ταινίας, του σκηνοθέτη και της ηθοποιού Α’ γυναικείου ρόλου. Βραβείο Καλύτερου βρετανικού φίλμ πήρε το δυνατό  I, Daniel Blake τού Ken Loach, ενώ μεγάλη εντύπωση προκάλεσε η ταινία Nocturnal Animals, το θρίλερ του Tom Ford, το οποίο ήρθε με εννέα υποψηφιότητες καί έφυγε με άδεια χέρια. Επίσης το Moonlight του Barry Jenkins, η Καλύτερη Δραματική ταινία τών φετινών Χρυσών Σφαιρών, έχασε καί στίς τέσσερις κατηγορίες στίς οποίες ήταν υποψήφιο.

Το ανώτατο τιμητικό βραβείο των Bafta παρέλαβε φέτος ο τεράστιος κωμικός, σεναριογράφος και σκηνοθέτης, Mel Brooks, για τη εξαιρετική του συμβολή στον κινηματογράφο, πού παρ’ όλα τα 90 του χρόνια, (όπως θα δείτε καί στό video), το χιούμορ του παραμένει αστείρευτο.
